Our Team

  • Connecting with nature is foundational.

    Ms Erica

A nature lover, Erica stays busy visiting Indiana states parks as often as she can in her quest to visit all of them. She has a background in Early Childhood Education and homeschooling her children and passionately challenges everyone to become ecoliterate. She believes that if children learn to love and appreciate nature, they will grow up to be adults who take care of the natural world.

  • Ms Audrey

Audrey has spent the last 14 years on a permaculture farm, 12 of those years homeschooling her own children, learning and growing together in a rhythm shaped by nature. Her family has also taken part in mission trips to share sustainable practices with communities around the world. Audrey hopes to gently encourage students to trust themselves, move with patience and joy, and discover all they are capable of becoming.  She carries a heart of wonder and healing, aiming to see the beauty and value in nature and every person.

  • Mr Maarten

You wouldn’t know that Maarten grew up in the Netherlands, but his world travel and European roots give him a fantastic foundation from which to teach.

  • Our staff provides love and support to help students grow to physical, emotional, and spiritual maturity.

    Ms Honey

Tessa has a passion for children and education. Being homeschooled, she knows first hand the benefits of small group study and individual pacing. She seeks to create an environment where every child has a say in the way the classroom is managed to ensure everyone has what they need to thrive and succeed.

  • Ms Andrea

Andrea brings a passion for education and a love of the natural world. She believes that young children learn best through curiosity, hands-on experiences, and meaningful connections to the world around them. Whether it’s observing wildlife, exploring the woods, or engaging in sensory learning, she strives to create a classroom environment where students feel inspired, engaged, and connected.

  • We apply the principles of farm and forest education.

    Ms Leena

Leena began tutoring in college which led her to major in Middle School Math education, although she ultimately completed a Bachelor of Science in English Literature. While she homeschooled her daughters, she tutored and taught in a variety of educational settings.
